thought of quotes or stuff i remembered. like
People care about people who care about themselves
and it's pretty true sometimes, sadly! heh. but sometimes, people who love their jobs, something else, themselves more than they love people will one day regret it when the ones they love turn away. and by then it's too late. and i'd say, not that u shldn't love those who love themselves. but you should choose to love those who love others above those who just love themselves. i think it irks me sometimes. to think that pride can be such a big factor which prevents people from apologising, from taking a step back or forward. it's terrible to know that we as humans often lose the ones closest to us because of pride. because we don't want to be the ones to RISK the hurt. we want others to do it, be it your friend, your parent, your sibling. but too bad when BOTH think that way.
i'm reading this new book, i don't know what made me buy it at popular but it was one of those, I SHALL READ THIS NOWWWWWWW kinda moments. 'things i want my daughters to know' and NO i'm not like planning early or whatever but i like how it's a book about each person's different character, upbringing, issues and ultimately, about healing and lessons (: i think if i had the whole afternn off i'd have finished it in one sitting. but too bad. i'm about halfway thru!
ah right. my niece called me and i have to go now! haahh
